A Traditional Amazonian Medicine
Bringing strength and clarity to mind, body and spirit, Kambo is a shamanic medicine used for centuries by Amazonian tribes for its healing properties.
“It feels like such a big release for me, I feel ready for my next chapter, moving forward in life now to improve myself and focus on making changes. I've been stuck in the past for a long time, and pleased I'm now looking more to the future. It was such a great experience, the music, the atmosphere and the singing with the rattle...”

“I am grateful to Nisarga for support, presence, open heart, intuition and allowing me to open up and touch something deeper in me. Will be coming back for sure.”
- Piotr
“I recently had my first ever kambo treatment, with Nisarga. Nisarga created a beautiful space and ceremony for myself and one other person. I felt very safe and cared-for throughout the experience. Since the treatment I've felt exceptionally well. Also, as someone who undertakes serious strength training, I've noticed a great surge in my performance.”

“Really good kambo session, Nisarga made me feel very safe and comfortable. She is a very gentle and intuitive person knowing just what I needed, also an amazing singer! I’m looking forward to my next session.”

What is Kambo?
Kambo is a powerful shamanic medicine that can initiate strong healing processes in mind and body.
Kambo works to bring the body and mind back into balance, shifting old traumas and stagnant energies and helping to align the person more fully on the path of physical and mental healing.
After a Kambo treatment people often feel they have been through a deeply cleansing experience. The mental clarity which commonly follows treatment can bring new insights and understandings, making it easier to shift old patterns of behaviour.
Western science has begun to recognise the possibilities in kambo for treating various physical ailments - there are around 70 patents lodged in the US on the peptides in the kambo secretion for their potential medical uses.
Where does it come from?
Kambo comes from the Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog, which is indigenous to the Amazon and not endangered. It is a secretion produced by the skin and is harvested by tribespeople without harm to the frog.
It is used in the Amazon to clear “panema”, which the tribes define as dark or negative energies that manifest as sickness, bad luck, depression, laziness and a clouded mind. It is also used to treat malaria, snake bites, infections, fevers, for improved fertility, and to generally cleanse and strengthen the mind and body.
Using Kambo is also said to give “hunting magic” - improved strength, stamina, focus and clarity of vision.
About Me
Hi, I’m Nisarga. I’m 44 and live near Norwich with my partner Darran. Kambo has been a part of my own spiritual path and physical healing for many years and it is an honour to be able to offer it to others. I am certified with the International Association of Kambo Practitioners (IAKP).
In my 20s I graduated with a degree in Medicine from Warwick Medical School, but during the course of my training my views on health and wellbeing evolved so much that I realised practising as an allopathic doctor wasn’t for me. I still appreciate and use much of the knowledge I gained in my training. My kambo practice benefits from a blend of this understanding and a more intuitive way of working that has evolved from my own spiritual practices.
I am devoted to meditation and self enquiry. I welcome the chance to explore this with others and to ask the question, “In the heart of my being, who am I?”.
Kambo Safety
Most people can safely recieve kambo. It interacts with very few other substances and does not pose a problem for most medical conditions. However there are a few exceptions, such as people who have had a stroke, aneurisms and serious cardiovascular conditions. If you decide you’re interested in booking a treatment you’ll be sent a brief health questionaire to make sure kambo is suitable for you.
It is important to find either a traditional or an appropriately trained practitioner, as not only will they guide you through the process, but they will also know to check for contraindicated conditions. A full list of contraindications is available on the IAKP website.
